DISNEY – Cruella (Social Campaign)

I had the pleasure of working with Glass Eye Creative on some of the social spots for new Disney movie ‘Cruella’, some highlights of which below.

UNKLE – ‘RONIN’ (Trailer + Social Teasers)

Collaborating with creative centre of UNKLE James Lavelle, this trailer for the band’s new RONIN mixtape album (a musical collaboration with Steven Weston, featuring artwork from Warren Du Preez, Nick Thornton Jones & Toshiya Horiuchi) features gorgeous b+w footage, shot by Du Preez & Thornton Jones for UNKLE. And comprises of a dream-like edit of our eponymous ‘Ronin’ character, as she goes about her mystical, woodland existence, all cut to a montage of some of the musical highlights from the album.

I created, edited & did all post production for the video, as well as some online social teasers, shown below.

LOSERS – Lost In Translation (Music Video)

The first of my music videos for the band Losers… ‘Lost In Translation’ is a lyric-focused, visual mood piece. Made up of increasingly psychedelic imagery that reflects the flow and meaning of the song.

I had the pleasure of working as part of the in-house creative team at Outernet between fall of 2020 and spring 2021. I cant say much about any the specifics of what I was working on yet, but you should definitely keep a close eye on this fantastic project, opening later this year in central London.

PERSONAL PROJECT – Halloween Video

I just wanted to create something fun for Halloween this year to give people a laugh, whilst also giving me a chance to do a bit of 3D for the first time in ages.

ITV – In Cold Blood (Feature Documentary)

I was very proud to work on this EMMY Award winning feature length documentary about the decades long scandal of contaminated blood products for filmmaker Marcus Plowright, commissioned by ITV. It was an expansive project, lasting many months from winter 2019 to September 2020 when it aired on ITV. I worked very closely with Marcus during the creation of the film to try and bring to life the events of the investigation, featuring many unearthed documents that charted the cover ups and events, over the decades it all took place, I also created the branding & some promotional material for the film.

IMAGES—SQUARES—LEE-BROOM

LEE BROOM – ‘Maestro’ Films

I was pleased to take on the entire post-production (including editing, colour grading and some light VFX work) for this ambitious creative from designer Lee Broom & agency Satore Studio. The film consists of 3 x vignettes, each soundtracked by a different piece of classical music by 3 renowned composers (Grieg, Debussy & Haydn). The visuals show an orchestra, sat on Lee Broom’s new design, performing each piece in a blacked out space, lit from all directions by specifically timed lighting, all in sync with the music. Each scene has it’s own style, flow and unique energy, to reflect the atmosphere of each piece of music and Lee’s unique creative flair.

The project consisted of creating 3 x separate films, one full length version of all 3 together (shown below) as well as various social cutdown versions used by Lee to promote the film online.

FUTURE UTOPIA – Album Artwork Animation

I was excited to be a part of this project creating animations from the wonderful artwork by Pentagram’s Abbott Miller & illustrator Ori Toor, for the new music project from producer Fraser T Smith: FUTURE UTOPIA. Creatively steering the ship was Robin Burke of 1983 Creative with Giovanni Bucci & Lukas Weyandt collaborating with me on the animation.

RALPH LAUREN – Spring – Summer 2021 Sizzle Video

Nice little project to work on from lockdown… I created an audio bed, timed out the structure and animated all the elements to create a 2 minute sizzle reel highlighting the upcoming collections for 2021 for Ralph Lauren. Sadly it’s all so secret I can’t show you anything! So you’ll have to make do with these frames from the intro and have to take my word for it about the rest, sorry.

MEDIA CUBS – Social & Outdoor Campaign

I worked on this project during the first lockdown back in June. With the worlds of film, live events, music, art and TV all effectively shut down, I got in contact with Not Fur’ Long Creative, who were trying to make the best of a bad situation by connecting currently out-of-work creatives like myself, with in-need non-profit organisations like MEDIA CUBS. I created a series of deliverables for this Manchester based after-schools youth media initiative, including an animated ‘manifesto video’, social media spots, as well as a digital billboard and other print elements.
