I was very proud to work on this feature length documentary about the decades long scandal of contaminated blood products for filmmaker Marcus Plowright, commissioned by ITV. It was an expansive project, lasting many months from winter 2019 to September 2020 when it aired on ITV. I worked very closely with Marcus during the creation of the film to try and bring to life the events of the investigation, featuring many unearthed documents that charted the cover ups and events, over the decades it all took place.
I was pleased to take on the entire post-production (including editing, colour grading and some light VFX work) for this ambitious creative from designer Lee Broom & agency Satore Studio. The film consists of 3 x vignettes, each soundtracked by a different piece of classical music by 3 renowned composers (Grieg, Debussy & Haydn). The visuals show an orchestra, sat on Lee Broom’s new design, performing each piece in a blacked out space, lit from all directions by specifically timed lighting, all in sync with the music. Each scene has it’s own style, flow and unique energy, to reflect the atmosphere of each piece of music and Lee’s unique creative flair.
The project consisted of creating 3 x separate films, one full length version of all 3 together (shown below) as well as various social cutdown versions used by Lee to promote the film online.
I was excited to be a part of this project creating animations from the wonderful artwork by Pentagram’s Abbott Miller & illustrator Ori Toor, for the new music project from producer Fraser T Smith: FUTURE UTOPIA. Creatively steering the ship was Robin Burke of 1983 Creative with Giovanni Bucci & Lukas Weyandt collaborating with me on the animation.

Nice little project to work on from lockdown… I created an audio bed, timed out the structure and animated all the elements to create a 2 minute sizzle reel highlighting the upcoming collections for 2021 for Ralph Lauren. Sadly it’s all so secret I can’t show you anything! So you’ll have to make do with these frames from the intro and have to take my word for it about the rest, sorry.
I worked on this project during the first lockdown back in June. With the worlds of film, live events, music, art and TV all effectively shut down, I got in contact with Not Fur’ Long Creative, who were trying to make the best of a bad situation by connecting currently out-of-work creatives like myself, with in-need non-profit organisations like MEDIA CUBS. I created a series of deliverables for this Manchester based after-schools youth media initiative, including an animated ‘manifesto video’, social media spots, as well as a digital billboard and other print elements.
I created these videos for the one year anniversary of the exhibition BEYOND THE ROAD at Saatchi Gallery, a collaboration between Colin Nightingale & Stephen Dobbie (Punchdrunk) and James Lavelle (UNKLE).
I like to create seasonal compilations when I get the chance, and it felt more important than ever to mark the occasion this year. To celebrate the season of rebirth and renewal, as well as creating this double mixtape, I also made a couple of little animated videos to help promote the project (plus designing the artwork).
Working closely with the UAL Design Department I created a suite of on-screen motion assets for them to use across all video and social media. Sticking as closely as possible to their simple yet bold brand guidelines to create a clean and versatile kit of parts.
