The lovely people over at Warp magazine in Mexico did an article and interview with yours truly, to talk about my experiences in the industry, my creative processes and my experiences collaborating with James Lavelle of UNKLE, ahead of their festival performance in Mexico September 2019.
Working closely with the client, we cast, costumed, styled & shot a range of characters in various poses, later comp-ing them in to specially shot London locations to help visualise the look of the game’s neon-soaked urban world.
I created of a series of lyrics-based animated videos for Mr Hudson’s new single, to build up to the album launch. Using a glitchy, low fi computer glitch style, combined with specially shot footage of the artists with high contrast colours and effects to really bring focus to the lyrics & music of the track.
Working closely with an editor, we created the branding and trailer for Sony Movie Channel Summer Blockbusters season, featuring large amounts of sunny grading effects used throughout the edit.
Using the iconic audio from the feature as a basis, we created a kinetic text creative that ended up being used across Social Media and Digital Out Of Home in Landscape, Portrait and Square formats.
Working up a variety of key art concepts for the Netflix teen drama, with a shoot following once a concept was chosen. None of these designs were picked for the final campaign, so they re only at a very rough level of creation and used purely to sell a concept/design.
Working closely with another designer, we developed various poster concepts for the BBC crime drama. Once one was approved, we then proceeded to create a full Digital Out Of Home subtle motion campaign around our final poster design.
After developing a wide variety of poster ideas for the BBC & creator Jane Campion, we finalised this underwater concept, incorporating subtle allusions to details from the show. The poster was also then animated for Digital Out Of Home and Online use.
After developing a wide variety of poster concepts with The BFI for their 25th Anniversary reissue of the classic film Howard’s End, a simple, clean, naturalistic approach was chosen to help attract the film to a new younger audience, whilst pleasing existing older fans.
